We are seeking an experienced Chief Technology Officer (CTO) who possesses a deep understanding of technology trends and has a keen eye for identifying non-functional tech solutions. The ideal candidate will bring a visionary outlook, technical due diligence expertise, and a strong background in technical architecture. As the CTO of a separate business unit, you will be responsible for providing strategic vision and technology leadership, overseeing technical teams, ensuring the efficient delivery of projects, and driving innovation within the organization.

Requirements:
– 15+ years of experience in CTO/Delivery Director/Head of Delivery/Head of Engineering  or senior technology leadership roles.
– Proven expertise in Technical Due Diligence with a track record of successful evaluations.
– Strong technical architecture background.
– Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
– Demonstrated experience in team management and expansion.
– Proficiency in infrastructure setup and network security tools.
– Strategic thinker with the ability to align technology with business goals.
– Familiarity with successful exits and venture capital processes (optional).
– Experience in large corporations with thousands of employees (optional).
– Global and multi-region perspective in technology development (optional).

Responsibilities:
– Strategic Vision and Technology Leadership:
Develop and communicate a clear and innovative technology strategy aligned with the company’s business goals.
Identify emerging technologies and industry trends, ensuring the company remains at the forefront of technological advancements.

– Technical Due Diligence and Innovation:
Utilize your extensive experience in technical due diligence to assess the feasibility and viability of technology solutions.
Champion innovation and creativity within the technical team, driving the development of cutting-edge products and services.

– Technical Architecture and Client Communication:
Act as a technical architect, providing technical guidance and expertise to the team and clients.
Effectively communicate complex technical decisions to clients in a clear and understandable manner.

– Technical Excellence and Quality Control:
Establish processes for achieving technical excellence and ensure the adherence to high-quality standards in all deliverables.
Implement measures to guarantee the quality and reliability of the products developed.

– Team Management and Expansion:
Manage technical teams, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Oversee team expansion efforts, identifying and recruiting top technical talent.

– Product Development and Infrastructure Management:
Organize and oversee product development, ensuring efficient project delivery within established timelines.
Manage infrastructure setup, including network security tools, to safeguard against breaches and protect customer data confidentiality.

– Implementation of Company Strategies:
Collaborate with senior management to implement company strategies and achieve business objectives.
Translate business goals into actionable technical plans.

– Technology Stack and Resource Planning:
Determine the long-term and short-term technology stack, considering scalability, performance, and maintainability.

– Plan and allocate resources for the successful implementation of technical projects.

– Successful Exits and Venture Capital Experience (Optional):
If applicable, bring experience with one or more successful exits and familiarity with venture capital processes.

– Global and Multi-Region Perspective (Optional):
If applicable, leverage experience in dealing with global and multi-region perspectives in technology development.
